Your Tasks
- Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring invoices are accurately recorded and financial data is properly maintained.
- Contribute to period-end activities, helping ensure smooth month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and reliable financial reporting.
- Coordinate tax-related activities, including VAT filings, Intrastat declarations, and the review of transactions for tax compliance.
- Evaluate financial results and key performance indicators, highlighting deviations from plans and providing insights for business decisions.
- Assist with financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation, forecasting, and monitoring business performance.
- Collaborate across departments on financial and accounting matters while contributing to digitalisation initiatives, system upgrades, and the continuous development of internal processes.
Your Profile
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or commercial vocational training combined with further qualification as an Accountant, ideally as an International Accountant
- Practical background in financial accounting, tax, finance, or a similar business function
- Good command of German financial reporting requirements (HGB) and familiarity with international accounting frameworks
- Understanding of tax-related processes, with a particular focus on VAT treatment and regulatory compliance
- Strong skills in MS Office, especially ExcelHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA is ideal
