Your Tasks:
As an accounting Manager, you are responsible for all finance and accounting tasks and are responsible for the following activities, among others:
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Lead and manage the accounting department
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of VAT returns and other local declarations.
- Prepare financial reporting to parent company in Japan.
- Collaborate closely with external consultants and auditors.
- Communication with other departments.
Your Profile:
You are detail-oriented, have passion to the activity in accounting/financial field and are also characterized by the following qualities :
- Good Business Level in English skill
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Working knowledge of VAT in EU countries would be a plus
- Good IT skills with accounting software, especially with SAP, ERP
- Experienced handling of common MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Independent, responsible, structured, and careful way of working
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Japanese culture and/or language would be a plus
