Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
You will take on a variety of finance related tasks and be responsible for the following activities, among others:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Prepare financial statements and ensure timely submission of VAT and corporate tax returns
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives, ensuring projects are completed efficiently
- Develop robust controls to safeguard assets and coordinate smooth year-end audits
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and profitability
Your Profile:
You are living in Germany and you have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities in the finance and accounting filed, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you bring the following qualifications:
- Language skills: English (fluent), German (at least conversational), Japanese prefered
- Professional experience in the finance or accounting sector in Germany
- Strong expertise in financial principles, HGB/IFRS, internal controls, and audit management
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, financial reporting tools)
- A successfully completed university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field desirable
